After months of delaying our property hunting, we finally took James’ invite as a sign that we should get started. For this ‘tripping’ we were scheduled to visit the Pramana in Sta Rosa

We were invited to the open house, that will also allow us to watch the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight via satellite, yey! Although Pacquiao didn’t win, it was still a different experience watching the game from home compared to watching it with a group of strangers. They were actually cheering and clapping… FUN!
let's get ready to rrrrrrrumble!!!! |
They provided Starbucks drinks

They even served lunch, yey!

Pramana Residential Park is a Greenfield City development. They refer to it as a residential park because of its promise that it will dedicate half of the land area to playgrounds, manicured lawns, open spaces and tree lined roads.

When we were scouting for different properties in the past, this was the one that LJ was most interested in. After the house viewing, it’s definitely our top choice as the place to have our future house... mga 5 years pa... mangarap lang tayo now. =D
They showed us three model houses: Amaryllis, Bougainvillea, and Chamomile – lahat maganda!! =p
1st stop was Amaryllis – James said this is the one with the biggest balcony so that’s a big plus for me! With a floor area of 155sqm, there’s definitely a lot of space compared to the teeny condo.
Amaryllis House Details:
• Floor Area: 154.95 sqm
• Lot Area: (Range) 144 sqm to 325 sqm
• 3 Bedrooms
• 2 Full Baths
• 1 Powder room
• 2 Car Garage
• 1 Living Room
• 1 Dining Room
• 1 Kitchen
• 1 maids room with half bath
• Lanai
• Master’s bedroom with balcony
• Outdoor wash area
2nd stop was Chamomile. It was a nice house, just not my fave. Probably because the balcony was really small, you can’t even have a sitting area. Kitchen was huge though, and with almost floor to ceiling windows in all rooms, you definitely won’t feel claustrophobic here.
Chamomile House Details
Floor Area: 185.10 sqm
Lot Area: (Range): 199 sqm to 413 sqm
4 Bedrooms
2 Full baths
1 Powder room
2 car garage
1 Living Room
1 Dining Room
1 Kitchen
1 maids room with half bath
Outdoor wash area
Lanai

The final model house to view was Bougainvillea. We were advised that this was the most popular, and we were able to see why. The layout was great, and there’s a walk-in closet! I think LJ was more thrilled about this fact than I am. Haha!
Bougainvillea House Details:
Floor Area: 157.05 sqm
Lot Area: 180 sqm to 351 sqm
3 Bedrooms
2 Full baths
1 Powder Room
2 Garage Car
1 Living Room
1 Dining Room
1 Kitchen
1 Maids room with half bath
Lanai
Master’s bedroom with balcony

We then drove around so we can see the facilities, like play areas, pocket gardens and the like.
Then we were led back to the clubhouse, so they can discuss the price (oh my!).
Given that Pramana’s prices are already higher, they recommended that based on the timing and practical reasons, it will be better for us to invest in Solen. I’m not really thrilled with the name, cause it associated with a model. Nothing against her, it’s just that it sounds showbiz now, hehe! But after thinking about it, it seemed better.. cause my name translates to ‘Sky’ and I then looked up LJ’s and it means ‘hill with lime trees’ so… if we live in Solen, we’ll have the ‘Sun’… wala lang! =D
They assured us that it will be developed the same way as Pramana, but right now they are just offering the lot. We can hire a contractor for the house, which is actually going to be cheaper so we won’t complain about that.
Because we are still dealing with the wedding expenses, we didn’t pay any reservation yet. I don’t think we can commit the next 15 years! Wait muna! so we just requested for a copy of the computation and told them that we’ll think it through…
The verdict… we really want it! Universe?? Yuhooo!!!
We are thinking of including it in the wedding registry na lang. You think if all our friends and relatives pool in their gifts of cash kasya na? haha! We’ll have a 2nd collection sa church – “for the benefit of the Cie LJ halika na at bigyan sila ng lupa’t bahay Foundation”
So, we’ll see how it plays out…
in terms of budget (kung makakain pa kami), and
future plans (cause this will eventually mean we have to move to Sta Rosa)
right now the paper has been posted on our vision board…
universe? Anu na?
